Default Thirty Day Challenge

I agree. I did the first few days and really can see the value for anyone who doesn't already have info about micro niches, PPC and social networking.

I decided to stop because there was a lot of overlap of knowledge for me.

That, coupled with the fact that they were gonna have to spend a lot of time on their product caused me to move along.

Mostly, I need to stay focused on my ultimate goals and sometimes that means dropping some projects... I'm not gonna finish something just because I started it.

I do recommend it to anyone who is a relative novice in the online marketing world.

I'm pretty sure Market Samurai and 30DC are not from the same company. If anything, Market Samurai makes a lot of the sections easier since the info you need is all in one place. Older versions of 30DC (which I believe are still accessible... anybody know?) used other software like Google Trends webtracker mashup to do some of the things that Market Samurai did, so hopefully you can find the older videos/training and see how to do 30DC without MS.

But anyway, to say 30DC's point is to upsell Market Samurai is wrong. There's a ton of useful info in the 30DC (like socialposter.com, concepts of keywords, other webtools) that it was worth it for me to go through it a few years back.

Although Tim doesn't openly advocate the use of this site, he did recently write something on the new book "Crush IT" about 'grabbing...stealing... and fighting your way to getting your business going'.

And that said, I was able to build a business to $1000/mo ($1100 last mo actually) in 5 months using the resources available here.
