Hello, I'm doing a project (book) collection consisting of over 300 websites with a number of features in common, style of "Taschen" (eg the top 100 websites in flash)

The value of this book is the compilation and categorization of these web pages, which present an image of the home page and comments for each.

My question is this: if I sell this product, do I have to communicate or ask permission of the authors and / or owners of each of the websites?

thanks!

I'd appreciate any feedback for it.

I've been testing my sales copy here, http://www.fitlish.com/fitlishfeet

We've sent around 400 people total to the page and sold one copy. Typically we send around 50-100 people then look at the data and revise accordingly. This is the second major revision (previously it was a lot longer and we wanted to try a shorter copy).

I've noticed that up until now a very small percentage of people would click the buy now button but they would click the text like mad.

I'm assuming to learn more about the product. So I made a checkout page with a little more info about what they get and all the text (and add to cart buttons) link to that checkout.

However, I'm terrible at drawing pictures, and doing layouts. Has anybody done a checkout page? Would you have some recommendations?

Basically the product is what the copy says, it's a 1 hour long documentary on foot health and shoe selection, then a series of foot stretches and massages. An instruction on how to create your own massage studio at home and a little bonus on making your own barefoot shoes.

I'm kind of shooting in the dark right now looking at data and making assumptions to test. Probably that's how it always goes, but this is my first product so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

sorry I went missing some time, my father had some health issues because he injured his foot and he has diabetes so it's very delicate. Either way I'm taking action now and I'm trying to figure out what kind of business should I create, I'm not sure yet if doing a web design business, graphic design business or a sales videos producer, right now I just want to take one idea, and I would like to sell like a bundle with many features so in order to find out better I would like to ask for your help in something very simple.

I would like to know what are your biggest fears and frustrations when it comes to creating a business or when taking a business you already have to the next level, that way I will be creating something that can actually help people come closer to their goals.

Thanks a lot for your time :D

I'm curious, I've been testing some affiliate offers using PPC.

When do you guys call it good? I picked a couple products from commission junction with higher gravity scores in the niche I'm interested in promoting.

Now I'm pumping traffic to them. I've dumped about $20 towards them and have around 38 clicks.

The profit is $30 for a sale... I know my initial ad testing isn't the most efficient per cost yet as I've narrowed down some higher CTR ads.

Curious though, about how much traffic should a person push before they have a decent idea a product won't sell? I just kind of figured around 100 clicks? But I'm not basing that on anything in particular...
