Hello new friends and fellow liberated humans. I'm looking for a business mentor. The ideal candidate would be someone with 20-30 years experience running software companies, building consumer software and web services, someone who's had great successes and one or two colossal failures. This person is probably someone widely known, certainly within industry circles, possibly throughout the world.

It's ok if this person may be very difficult to contact, much less convince to take up a mentorship role with me. For example, if you said Bill Gates, that would be a long shot, but anything's possible, especially having read Tim's recent blog post. It's also ok if I've never heard of this person, I can do the research.

I've already built two small companies and sold one of them. My primary career goal is to build real businesses from top to bottom, to launch profitable products and services using innovative technology, to create game-changing, simple, cinematic user experiences. My focus is currently on high definition web video, but I also have a background in 3D graphics, facial feature tracking, system portability and virtual life.

Thanks for your thoughts and advice.

There was a book about this I found fascinating. Such a way cool subject.

Try Charles Trippy.

Met a fellow in the early 1990's who was doing some work in this arena in the Lake Tahoe area.

This is what he is doing now.

He may or may NOT be the one, but might be able to lead you to THE ONE.

Good Luck!
