Just read about Site Build It. Sounds great for an online education of marketing and building a website.

Anyone heard of it? have any reviews?

There have been quite a few discussions about it. Use the search function on the upper line to find them.

Hi,

I've built an SBI website about 6 months ago and my traffic has been increasing steadily over the past 6 months.

They have step-by-step tutorials on how to SEO optimize every page and much more than any other website builder on the internet.

I know a few people who use SBI. The issue is, if it is an issue, is that they charge you $300+ pa for the hosting, and you can't retrieve your stuff and move it to another server, so you are pretty tied with them.

I hear that some people make good incomes with their SBI sites, but I think the thing that makes their program good is the structured learning. Keyword research, category defining, etc etc. Building a site that the search engines like, but that visitors find easy to use.

If you already know how to do this, you don't need an SBI site. Get a Baby Croc hosting with Hostgator or similar and build your own site. I use XSiteProto build static html sites, and it is very simple to get a good site up. Content is king, and if you structure your site for easy navigation and use good internal (and extrenal) linking, you can do well. I have some a site that makes over $1000 pm with 50 pages, all from adsense.

More than one way to skin a cat

Cheers
