Is the following a too wide niche?

30-60 year old females that are interested in supplements.

I'm going to market this in a country with about 4-5 million Internet users.

Why 30-60 years of age, what is so different between those women? If that is your target how do you let them know that you have the answer?

Why not for all women who want to be fit, plus added bonuses for women of ages 30-60 because they get extra (blank) from your product which is superior or shown to be best for women of ages 30-60. Something like that.

I chose the target group from 30 year olds and above becaue that's what my VA suggested after researching the market. I myself limitied it up to 60 year olds because those over 60 does not use the Internet that much. In the beginning I will only focus on the Internet as a marketing channel.

Did your VA research who else is targeting this market? Is there another product your market is already using that is similar? Does your product fill in the gap or a need that the existing products don't meet or don't meet adequately? Is there crossover between this group and another market segment that isn't already using your product?

i.e. let's pretend it is a calcium supplement. Yes, there is a big market amongst women 30+, and there are a lot of calcium supplements out there already, and many inexpensive generics. So, what about a calcium supplement combined with some other nutrients for building cartilage/reducing wear and tear in the ankle, hip and knee joints, and target women who walk, job or run, within the age group you mentioned.

Just some ideas to get you started.

Hi, I just came across your post and this appeared to be too wide a niche because a woman in her 30's isn't thinking about the same thing as a woman in her 50's.
