I have an information product that contains both text and audio. I was using Lulu.com to take orders and deliver them electronically. I'm disatisfied with them now and wondering of any other proviers are the up and coming people to be dealing with that would meet my needs better. Who are you guys using?

Thanks,

You haven't really said whether you prefer to deliver the product digitally, or in physical format. I assume you mean physical.

I'm using CD-fulfillment.com for sending out audio CDs, and it's great. I'm also selling digitally, and using my own website to handle the delivery of content using DL Guard software.

I've blogged about this here:

I meant digitally. I could use the name of a couple websites that are common/reliable. Although I see the benefits of DL Guiard, it's not for me.

Cheapest option e-junkie 5 bucks a month

Best option 1shoppingcart 100 dollars a month for everything you'll need to run a digital company (which I use).

Why isn't something like DLGuard for you? Just curious. Intimidated by installing it? Don't think you need the features?

You could start with simple (eJunkie) and evolve if you need.

You could also host the download page on your own domain and do literally NOTHING significant to protect it ... take payment by PayPal and send customer to download page when done. Just use "noindex" tag, awkward name, so it is not easily found by a searcher. Change the page name every month.

But DLGuard is way more advanced, simple, and useful.

DL guard isn't for me because of no stable/reliable internet connection and not wanting to buy and maintain a computer not that any justification is needed. "It's not for me" should be enough for everyone on these boards.

I have internet off and on. I have computers off and on. I'm not atached to having one in the house every second of my life or dragging them around everytime I move. I've been in Korea, Indonesia and Thailand over the last 9 years and 0 hours in Amerika. I'm frequently in the jungle. Thats the reason why I origiinally went with Lulu.com, NOTHING to install and of course free. THOSE are what I'm looking for.

But frankly none of that is any of your concern and in the not need to know category. Maybe someone else could respond who knows about these as the hard sell that can be seen coming with words like "intimidated" has already turned me off from your "advice."

Sensitive much?
Geez dude, how about pull the stick out of you butt.
FrozenCanuk is asking for what it is about a product that doesnt work for you, as that helps narrow the field of options. If you dont want help, or balk at simple questions from the people trying to help, then DONT ASK.

Holy CRAP dude - chill the eff out.

I asked "why" so that I could better understand your situation and offer some alternatives. But whatever. You don't need any help from me.

DLGuard doesn't get installed on your computer. It goes on your host and you don't need to lug any stuff around with you ... but like I said ... you don't need my help.

Good luck.

Listen buddy - you got free advice for the limited info you provide. Everyone was polite and helpful until you started pulling the punches with your idiot reply.

Don't ask for any more help here. I'm not interested in helping you anymore.

Yes, you were just trying to help me. I was too short tempered but actually I didn't think you'd want to help me anymore. I was asking everyone else. In any event, wondering if DLGuard could be combined with something like CreateSpace or Cafepress although neither of them does digital DOWNLOAD.
