Information about marketing

My plan is to launch my site at March 25 selling products. What would be the best way to make sure that people know about my site (marketing?)

Hi in internet marketing you need very good site and allow as much view you can to view your site.

Make a press release for the launch of your product : get it known on forums, news list, and in as many places as possible.

Then start adwords campaign, use banners, links on website regarding your muse.

As a long-time member of Internet forums, and a moderator on several, I would STRONGLY suggest that you do NOT sign up for a forum merely to place a "Hey, I started a new website selling XYZ stuff" posts, nor would I suggest making that your first 1-10 posts on a forum.

Nobody likes a shill, nor someone who joins a community only to pimp/sell their stuff. All of the forums on which I have mentioned my online business, I was a member there long-before starting my company. Thus, when I did, I automatically had a higher level of credibility than I would have if I just joined and started promoting myself.

People knew me before they 'knew' my company.

While many people flock to the 'lowest price' retailer, I've known people who have gotten burned by that approach. There are a handful of companies in my industry that consistently get good marks, and part of it is that they are trustworthy, and the people were around and known beforehand.

Something to think about.
