Within the 4-Hour Workweek, Tim mentions that he taught college students to make $10,000 a month, does anyone know how he did it?
I have been actively working with World Wide Brands, but most of the products that I find with high demand have very low profit margins and appear too risky to me.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Dude - You have it backwards. The reason there is no profit in the best sellers is because they are easy to sell. Don't get turned off when I say this, but if I had a dime for every person who came here and asked about a product on their first post, I wouldn't need a muse!
It is not about the product. It is about selling. Go out and buy Ready, Fire, Aim by Michael Masterson. The intro sucks, but the whole first half of the book drives home the point that you need to be able to sell something in order to make money, and goes into it a lot deeper than Tim did, although Tim does advise to test, test, and test some more.
It is really hard to get to $10k a month. If it was that easy, we would all be making 10k drinking martinis in Bora Bora instead of here on this forum thinking about drinking martinis in Bora Bora. Change your mindset, and the rest will start to flow though. Again, don't take it the wrong way, but don't be a lemming (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=lemming). Doing what everyone else does will only get you the same results that everyone else is getting.

Thanks for the reply!
I should have made myself clear, I found the products using World Wide Brands' Product tool. The tool is supposed to help the user identify the products that are currently being overlooked. It analyzes the amount of products on ebay and other websites in comparison to the amount searches for specific products (among other factors). Obviously, the higher the demand for a product, the higher the likelihood that the market in heavily saturated. WWBs' tool tries to find the niche products and I have contacted the suppliers of those niche products. But once I receive the product price guide from the suppliers, the profit margins are low, when all the fees (shipped, handling, etc.)are accounted for.
I am not a lemming. I want to know how he taught college students to make $10,000 a month, so I can implement it (regardless of the work involved). Plus, I wanted to create a forum topic that would get more views.
The book makes the statement, but Tim does not identify which method he used.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am going to pull out the big stick here. Don't read if you don't want to see the reality of your situation.
You are not the first person to come here and ask the same question, only to follow it up with an, "I wasn't clear" lame attempt at justifying ineffective pursuits of LD.
Get your head out of the clouds. You were perfectly clear. Would you like me to tell you what your next three posts are going to say? Quit justifying yourself and start listening. You just might learn something.
LD is not about making $10,000 a month, it is about reaching your TMI. Successful muses are not about finding products, they are about testing and sales.
If you had done even a cursory search, you would know that nobody here uses World Wide Brands. That is because everybody uses world wide brands! The 4HWW lifestyle is not for lemmings, stop trying the same ineffectual methods they use, and focus on testing. That is Tim's message to college students. Work smarter.
