Hi All,

I designed my muse to answer the need of many people who read 4HWW:

How do I design a successful e-business when I have ZERO web design / internet experience!

I faced this issue in college and found a product that taught me what I needed to know for my tutoring business.

Now I want my muse to spread the word to others who are telling themselves they'll never be able to learn all the important topics regarding e-commerce!

My main source of traffic would be PPC for those googling the 4HWW/muses. Also, since the product commission is high I will not need much volume.

Obviously a huge work in progress right now, but I would love to here any thoughts!

Muse Website Design (http://www.musewebsitedesign.com)

Thanks!

Here's one critique: The box on the right (with the Muse definition) floats, and if you dont have the page maximized, it overlaps the center box and obscures some of the text.
It isnt a big deal except that if somebody is trying to figure out how to make a website will expect you to have a good website yourself. Otherwise they'll believe you dont know any better. . .. meaning, it kills credibility.

Ah thanks, :)

Just went live and didn't think about that guy being a floater.

Hey,

The site looks like it was build in 2000.

You programmed it in tables, you did not link to the stylesheet..

All in all; it is not a convincing looking site if you are selling a product that helps you built a good website.

If you cannot do it yourself well, hire someone through elance.

just my 2 cents

It's clearly built with the SBI (Seriously Butt-ugly Internet) site-maker. No offense. I know it's the tool not the crafts-person in this case. I have yet to see anyone manage to create a vaguely modern looking site with SBI. SBI has great research tools, but my god their design and SEO are horrendous. Turning all the main menu's (some of the most important keyphrases on the site) into pictures that are hard for search engines to read? What were they thinking?

Don't feel bad. I have an SBI account. I use it for research, but you better believe none of my site content goes into their system. I would also question whether their approach of you personally always writing new content day after day fits the definition of a muse. Remember Tim's flowchart that showed him nowhere on it? Yes you can have article writing outsourced, but the whole system is built around your interests. Why bother with that if someone else is going to write the content?

Remember, SBI is *not* a system for finding a muse. It is a system for finding a profitable long term blogging niche with you smack, bang in the middle of it doing all the work.

Hi,
I'm looking for Tims Muse Flow Chart - the one where he isn't in it. Can someone link me to it?
