Hi,
I got the 4 hour work week in a gift from my girlfriend a couple days ago. Haven't been able to put the book down. WOW Is the word that sums it all up.
I realise that I am close to launching my first muse and I am also building up a second one. I would like some feedback, hints, tips & tricks on how to proceed to be able to actually launch it and make it more worthwhile.
Starting with Muse nr1. - The Product
I have done this sort of backwards from how Tim teaches us to do it. I did
a small market survey regarding what to base the product on and then I just went straight into product creation.
Right now I have a 97 paged e-book, 6h 20min audio version of the same as well as a 14week e-course.
I know that this type of product is in demand since there are quite a lot of them on the market.
My current challenge is
A) Copywriting for the sales funnel (I got this wierd mental block that I'm not
good or "can't" write good sales copy).
B) Traffic generation to be able to drive traffic to my sales funnel.
I am currently paying out of my pocket and I don't have a big monthly budget.
This project has taken 3years now mainly due to tech issues with getting the content delivery site running so I just want to finish the thing, get it launch to start to earn some of the money back.
Right now the product is 100% digital however I could develop it into a physical product but that would require more work time and investments.
My trail of thought is just to the bare minimum in order to get it launch. If the money comes in and the product is succesfull then I will have capital to re-invest into the development of the product.
Muse nr2. - The Service company
This is what I am currently working on since it seems there is an in demand market in Sweden were I live for the service I provide (it's a done 4 you type of service company in the IT field).
Right now I am doing everything myself however how I see this business develop in the future is to outsource the main tasks or main "service" first on a per project basis but later (when I come up with a good monthly subscription service) I can start to simply hire the outsourced staff on a monthly basis and build a form of outsourcing company where I won't need to be in the loop so much and eventually totally out of it.
My current challenge is:
A) How to get more clients
B) How to develop a monthly residual type service so I can start to
get a monthly budget for the company.
I wonder what your experience is with running a service company as a muse and also if you can recommend some good books on the subject?
I am greatly looking forward to your response, it means a lot to me.
