Hi everyone, I'm Richard from the UK. I recently read Tim's book and decided to get started assessing my own situation and what I can do to get started.

I'm currently a student and work part time. I would like to become self sufficient and leave my part time job so that I can concentrate on my studies for my remaining two years.

I've started to create my Muse at this site www.shufflenation.co.uk but it is only in the development stages. Any advice you can give is greatly appreciated, or just say hello.

Thanks for reading,
Richard

If I was a customer I'd prefer your contact email wasn't a hotmail address - it doesnt sound as serious as sales@shufflenation.co.uk or if you couldnt have that maybe a link or form?

Cheers

For Shufflenation, I was expecting a poker/card-game related site, not phone accessories.

Being a blackberry man myself I have to say I like the products you are selling, was considering to buy one of those a year ago before I settled for an "otterbox"

But I agree with TimW, I think you should consider maybe another domain name or one that will forward to yours..

You could also make the products more visible, except for just having them rotate one by one..

Just my 2 cents..

Cheers!

Home page is clean.

I don't like much the rotating thing for the topsellers : just get 2 main products out there and don't rotate them.

Hotmail adress isn't the best choice to look professionnal.

Paypal is only one way of payment. I personnaly never use paypal. If I were you, I would consider accepting credit card as well on your website.

Good luck, it's a good start.

I like the design overall, a bit sparse, but I'm sure you'll pad it out.

At the moment you just have Blackberry accessories, yet on your banner you have an iPhone. At least for now I'd put a Blackberry on the banner, a fully accessioned one. And I may change the tagline from "Your Phone Accessories" to something more Blackberry specific, and I'd use more Blackberry specific content here and there. I'm just thinking it might be easier to market Blackberry specific accessories to a specific market (eg: Cityboys) than phone accessories in general.

And I don't like the "Top sellers", I'd just have or or two products up there (the ones that sell the best with the highest margin) with a more obvious call to action.

Then again I haven't even done my first muse :p

But I do work for a marketing company :D

Thanks for all the comments everyone. There will be a lot more going on the site soon. I'll remove the best sellers then if people arent liking that and i'll look at the other things too.

With regards to the domain I may look into changing that too.

Thanks for the help
