Hello All,

I have been digging through all the past threads on Ebay and was not really able to find the answer I was looking for and hoping someone here can offer their own experiences and advice.

I plan to use dropshipping to promote certain products on niche websites. The general products are already selling on ebay at this time. However, I am trying to find out which specific products are the best sellers on ebay much the same way the prosound effects guy did a few years ago. In one of these past threads, one of the other posters mentioned that ebay may now investigate if you do these fake auctions where you don't actually have the product to sell. I am curious to know what peoples experiences have been in this area and whether this can still be done like it was a few years ago?

If not, I would be curious to find out how others are getting around this now? PPC Ads to a general website would seem to work fine for one specific muse or product but seem to be less effective for trying to test out multiple products for a niche site like prosoundeffects. For starters, because you could not determine price points like on ebay but also because it would be a little more difficult and seemingly ineffective to create a 50 individual websites with paypal links for each product.

Another question I have about dropshipping in general is a very newbie one so please forgive me. Can you get the information about the products (specs and pictures) before signing up with a dropshipper to test the product or do you only get this information after you have signed up with them? I am curious whether I can test first with various products or do I need to establish an arrangement with the dropshipper first?
