Hi, everyone, this is my first post. I've read quite a few threads and I'm glad to see the camaraderie environment that lacks in other forums. Appreciate all the help and input you can provide me with.
I'm in the process of coming up with ideas for my muse (it's coming along real slow for me.) Looking at my life and interests, I am among other things a Japanese translator and a fan of Japanese horror films and series. There are several quality Japanese horror titles that have not been realeased with subtitles in English, so I thought about English-speaking Japanese horror fans as a niche I could cater for. However, I believe this would involve licensing, distribution rights and the like, which I have no knowledge of... so I feel like I might have a profitable idea but wouldn't know what steps to take, or if it's worth it...
Of course I would have to test the demand for it too (the only "test" for interest was posting some of these videos in Youtube and getting 350 subscribers in 8 months, which doesn't mean anything.)
