I just finished the 5th day of muse micro-testing. I would like to just throw my numbers out there and see if anyone thinks I should go on to create the product or test a different one:

1. CTR is ridiculously low
a).53% for Search Network,
b).09% for Content Network

2. But conversions are relatively strong
a)3% (11 sales out of about 360 visitors according to Analytics)
b)61 out of 360 visitors (17%) got to the checkout page

3. Clicks and conversions started strong early in the day, but died down after 2 PM Eastern Time.

3. I initially priced the product at $47. I "sold" about 5 units in the first 3 or 4 days at that price point. The fourth day I changed the price to $37. In the last day and a half I "sold" 6 units at that price point.

4. "Buyers" were from Canada, South Africa, Israel, Nigeria, India, Germany, but none from U.S.

I'll link to the test site below. I used Weebly and a stock photo. Obviously it's very amateurish, but I figured it was best to just put something out there instead of waiting to have the perfect design. I think the copy isn't bad, but I'm certain that I need to re-focus the market I want to sell to. My micro-test showed much better reception to ads that had to do with "writing as a career", "earn money writing", and "earn money as a freelancer" as opposed to the "how to write and publish feature articles". Even though, I would like to maintain the same essence and not change it too much. What do you think? Thanks in advance for any kind of help.

One possible reason that you havent gotten any US buyers is that you're talking to writers about being published, and yet you have typos and mistakes, due to (likely) poor proofreading.

Examples:
e'll teach you how to write and publish your own feature article with less than 60 days' worth-even if right now you're overwhelmed with the prospect of it.

Now, it's understandable if you feel that way. You may be convinced us that being a feature article writer and making a living out of it is almost impossible

How much do you pay for your clicks. For my current campaign I have 0.02 to 0.05 CTR rates, and almost 2,000,000 views, and I only made one sale. As these ads only cost me 8 dollars and my product sells for 28 dollars I'm still making a profit! ;)

But what I'm doing at the moment is affiliate marketing, so I do not have the hassle of actually creating a product - I only have to promote it ! :D
