I still haven't had any response, and I've only had about 10 views. I'm checing wether this Pilates product will be beneficial to sell. Is this the right way to research?

Hi,

It's good that you have put this up on ebay. Though you may want to try Google Adwords as well and run a small little campaign to test the market. Do this at the same time to see what kind of response you are getting.

Also are you selling this on ebay with a buy it now price or auction price? and how long is the listing going for? Those are some of the factors you will need to consider. Especially if it's at the early part of a 10 day listing. Furthermore, check out if there are other people (competition) advertising this similar product on ebay. If there is then it's probably product that is selling.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the tip.

How can you market test with Google Adwords?

My suggestion would be to do some keyword research to make sure there are people online 'actively looking' for products in thus niche/muse:

You might want to check out this case study video to give you some context to keyword research: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR05tDZLe88

Hope this helps,
