Have your website in your profile???
Are you scared?
Don't you have one?
Prefer to be a bit more anonymous

When things have been set into motion, a site will be there.

I just put one of many that I have (I use the deli case approach), because it looks like that's all that is allowed,
but this one (of which there are a bunch of clones) got me started. It is a site that I use from my marketing coach and it's been great for lead generation. I'm currently taking it to the next level by automating everything, and outsourcing the what I can't automate.
Goal is within 6 months to be at 4 hours. Here's the link RE Site (http://www.livingontheconnecticutshore.com)
Great post btw.....

I try to keep my personal and professional life separate. It helps me be more honest online as well, since I don't really feel any trepidation about posting anonymously.
Aaaah, this is getting interesting!
Is there realy a separation between the professional and the personal?
Are you a serial killer?
Can one be truly honest when posting anonymously?

Well I work online, my business is web development, so most of my clients are online as well. I am also a psychology student, so pretty soon my therapy clients might get curious. On top of that, I work and volunteer with/for/in mildly controversial areas.
But, when you google my name not much comes up. :D I am generally very honest when posting online, but I'm not one of those types who posts every pimple I've ever had :p

I get it when it comes to the psychotherapy field and the need to keep boundaries. As for posting and the forum, hmm....I don't think one method, one way, is going to cover all people. I assume we have different motivations for bring in the forum and for posting.
Honestly, I'm still feeling this out as a place to get good feedback and share what I'm up to. So I'm engaging slowly....haven't yet shared my muse, DL, TMI, or any of the other benchmarks of the 4HWW.
Yes, Sven, I'm a little scared, fearful even. Does it have to do with a fear about someone "stealing" my muse, nah, I don't really believev that, if they want to do all of the work that goes into it, well then, have at it and good luck. So there is something else and I'll dig in and examine it further.
What I have found is that the more I am being, doing, and having, what I want in my life, the less separation there is, less fragmentation, and that is a good thing.

My Muses have pen names.
The $$$ are in the business process.
It would be poor judgment to show potential competitors my playbook.
When I decided to start writing on the web in I think 2005 I did so under my full name. So now if you google it, you get something like 7 pages with no other people on it.
This did take a bit of effort to overcome basic fears about exposing myself but I am very happy that I did. Later I found a blogpost by Seth godin that confirmed my choice.
Exposing myself on the internet makes me accountable for what I say write and do. I make damn well shure that I do not say one thing and then be found to do something else.

Sven, you make an interesting point – I think the lines between personal and business lives are becoming very blurry. That’s good and bad – but either way, I don’t think there’s any going back.
