Wow.

I just went through the dreamlining and calculating TDI, and this is what I found.
When I sell only 4 copies a day of an information product at $60, with $15 a unit overhead I can:

Quit work to be with my wife and daughter
Release an album
Get a six pack (abs not beer!)
Learn Spanish with a native speaking personal tutor
Have a personal chef cater healthy meals for our household
Take my wife and child to live in Bali for 3 months
Stay in Brazil with my family for a month while being trained in Capoeira
Stay in a village entirely suspended in the trees above a flooded area the Amazon rainforest where pink bottle nose dolphins and vegetarian pirhana constantly swim below!

Amazing! I think I'm starting to like this dreamlining process!

It's surprising how many of my dreams were able to be combined to bring the cost down, eg 'round the world tickets to go to both South America and Asia.

It's a realy good way to get a new perspective on things. Very good!

But also keep in mind that it still requires to actually sell 4 (if you have done the sums right ;-) to achieve it.

"Just sell 4 a day" may still mean that you get stuck at selling 1. (per week, month...)
I know this from experience!

Good luck

Good luck with your dreamlining! Sounds like you've realized that achieving your dreams won't be too difficult.

I've had a slow growing "ah-ha" as well and reading 4HWW was just confirmation of my process.
I second Sven's thoughts and would ad that consistent, daily, "engagement" on the Dreamline and the action plan are critical to achieving success. Here is a good place to be reminded of Parkinson's Law and Pareto's theory, 80/20.

Make a daily plan. Plan, learn and grow.

Awesome dreamlining result.

Yes, "only" 4 sales per day. To some that's a lot, and to some that's a tiny amount and you're setting your goals too low.

I just wrote another post about Mike Geary with his ebook "the truth about 6 pack abs". He sells about 1500 per day (him and his affiliates). Seriously.

Think big. Use adwords, and learn to optimize your campaign. Then learn to get organic traffic.

Experiment with advertising in REAL magazines (I haven't done this yet but I keep thinking about Tim's examples from the book ... this could be a goldmine for me)

Good luck !!

to Canuck, others:

how does Mike Geary keep up those numbers if people can share his "e-book"/post it online somewhere...?
Or is it simply shear numbers, or ...?

Very good summary FrozenCanuck, thanks for the inspiration.

I believe it's shear numbers for sure.

The book can be found and is most likely pirated all over the place. For the most part, people are genuine and trustworthy and for the most part, if the copy and sales letter is done correctly you'll even get the people who planned on stealing it.

Geary's product has been going strong for a long time. It should be an inspiration that things are possible. Clickbank is very competitive to break through but if you do, the sky is the limit to how much can be made.
