Introductions are in need I suppose. I'm Adam and I live in Central Oregon and have many many hobbies and skills that can turn a profit with. Non of my areas I am in expert in with the exception of one. I.T. work which is FLOODED everywhere you turn.

The good news is that I have committed myself to honing a few my key skills or at least the ones that are marketable.

I have a blog that I write in on a regular basis and I really do enjoy writing when I have something to write about. My writing skills on the other hand are not something that I like to brag about. I didn't pay attention in English class in high school and I sure as hell didn't pay attention the short time I spent in college.

For my muse I would love to create an ebook and hopefully turn it into some sort of coffee table book or write another down the line with pretty pictures.

My question to all of you is...do I just have it and write like mad and hopefully have half legible and understandable "guide" when I'm done? Or do I take my time and try my best to construct a rough outline of each chapter and what I want and then try to find a ghost writer?

I've read guide after guide and I know there are many different formats and have no real idea which is better or worse. Maybe point in the right direction?

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!
Adam

Depends on the topic and the content you are working on.

If you go for a topic where there isn't much data available out there, and your content will be new and exclusive, then you wouldn't want to outsource that to a ghost writer, because it will be hard to find a skilled outsourcer to do the work, even with a detailed outline.

In other cases a good outsourcer could make the job.

Good luck with it, I hope it helps.

Hi there.

Liam is right.

Ghosts writers can help you construct the content and make sure it is ebook worthy. But in doing so, information is required. So if what you plan to make an ebook about something that is not as popular or well documented, you should supply your ghost writers with data (if you are planning to hire one).

Now, make sure that the ghost writers you hire have had previous experience in writing ebooks so as to avoid delays. Also, ask for sample write ups so you could check the grammar and manner by which they deliver thoughts.

If you are a busy man and have other things to attend to, you could get yourself a ghost writer to maximize time. Otherwise, you can take a gander at the task yourself and add a lot of personal touches to it.

Kind regards,

Em Gomez.

If you choose to write it yourself, and get some drafts ready for a ghost
writer you may certainly workshop it at my writing forum in private, without
ever allowing the public to view the drafts.

My writing forum is here:

If you would like to register, let me know, and I'll walk you around the site.

Thanks.
