Hi all, this is my first post, but please be as truthful as you need to be.

An idea I came up with when considering muse ideas whilst considering a niche market (of which I am very much apart of) fulfills most of the specifications of the 4hww.
The product has two aspects, both of which solve the issue faced by many health-food fanatics: storing food (especially meat) in plastic bags or clingwrap, as the fats in meat easily absorb the toxins and chemicals found in all plastics (incluing BPA-free ones).
These products would require a water/air retardant outer layer (plastic) and a non-plastic inner layer (but thats for me to know).

I have schematics in my head, but as I'm on holiday will wait until i get home before getting them drafted and patented.
A possible obstacle I foresee however is production, I would need to find a plastics manufacturer who could coordinate with other manufacturers, and I don't know how that would be possible without a large upfront order (which I want to avoid).

Any comments or ideas or critisisms (constructive please)

Cheers

Sven

Depending on the numbers this may be a viable market to aim at. But have you investigated alternatives?
My first thought is using tin foil or maybe other metal foils. Making metal foils is dead easy

A lot of inventors waste energy and money on developing a product that in the end does not solve a real problem for a user.

Second, developing a custom multi layerfoil will probably require huge investments. Maybe try teaming up with someone.
