Hi,
I have always wondered this. How do people make lots of money on ebay? I find it hard at times selling my 2nd hand items, especially if they are not all the rage.
Powerseller! Where do they get there products from? A lot of the people selling them cant be manufacturing these products. Do they get special discounts from the manufacturers?
Can someone enlighten me?

You'll need to find a product you like. Go to the original product site and look for a 'bullk' link or 'become a distributor'. But a lot of this product. Often, you'll get around 40% off if you buy let's say for $1000. Then you sell this on...
Of course, ebay takes a pretty big commission. I could help you set up your own website if you like to avoid that.
Have a great day!

The simple answer is no. You aren't going to get rich off ebay. That should be pretty obvious. The barriers to entry are nonexistent. If you are selling a lot, it is a simple thing to see, and even simpler to copy.
That is not to say that there is no money to be made there, because there is. It is just a challenge to keep up the pace you need to make it pay. With a store and an inventory, ebay make a nice addition. Without that, your margins are even thinner.

E-bay take around 5% of the finally sale. Which is a bit steep if you ask me. And they are the only winner in all this. Although I know their percentage does come down if you are a powerseller.
It must be working for some people otherwise people wouldnt be using it? Right?

Right Dorien, I have picked out a couple of products. Done a search on the internet and none of the websites have any 'bulk' or 'distributor' links!
Please PM me with some examples?

Lol. I don't think so. People are making some side cash, but not getting rich.
I am not saying you can't make money, just that it is hard.
