Hola Everyone,
I'm getting started with my muse, and I'm trying to find a fulfillment house to start out with. Some one who will do small operations with orders ranging from 100-1,000/month. I've only been able to find the big ones on Google.
Can anyone suggest or refer a fulfillment house, because I'd rather not start without having some sort of plan in place to expand.
Much Gratitude,
Katie
p.s.Don't know if it matters, but I'm located in Iowa

Start without one. that is a much better plan. With nothing and no sales, you don't have a very attractive proposition to a shipper. Take a look at the first phases of a must again and start shipping your products yourself. Unless you actually start, you might lose track of the overall goal in the details before you even get going.
Fulfillment houses will charge you 'rent' on the items you store there. If you have no sales, you're paying for nothing.
Start in your garage. When you outgrow that, then you can think about a dropshipper/fulfillment house.

Be more specific by what you mean by "small operations with orders ranging from 100-1000/month" - this could mean that you're spending that much per month on shipping, or you have that many orders currently, or that you're looking for a fulfillment house that will kit individual items you send them.
Next - Kamakiri and Tim are right - create your system, then automate it. It will be much easier (because I did the opposite and I'm reaping the *&#@)*storm right now as a result).
Finally - when you're spending $1000+ per month on shipping, I highly recommend Webgistix.com. They only accept new customers at that level, and you pay a minimal setup fee, then pay ONLY per item shipped, no monthly rental fee. It's a great model, they have good customer service, and they have APIs and a programming dept that will connect into any cart to make your life easy. PM me if you're at this level and want a personal contact there.
