So I got some credibility indicators (associations, testimonials, trademarks), an unbelievable money back guarantee, and 4 bonuses for my muse advertisement so far. I placed this listing in ebay's health & beauty > weight management category. So far, I only got the price up to $10.50 w/ 6 bids (5 unique) and 29 listing views (page views). My goal is to get it up to $30. Any suggestions on how to further improve my advertisement? I already contacted the bidders asking what motivated them to bidding, and they said they bidded because the product doesn't involve chemicals, the free shipping, and the fact that they want an alternative natural way of losing weight.
Thanks in advance.

As someone who has sold on ebay for a while now, I can tell you that auctions with a reserve rarely do as well as those without one. If you have a price in mind you should probably offer the item as a "Fixed-price" sale and see if anyone buys it.
Secondly, ebay is not really a good place to test new items - most folks shopping there are looking for things they already know they want. Your item sounds like an item that folks don't know about yet, so it's unlikely they'd be finding it by chance on ebay.
I'm not much on marketing buy it seems like you need to create some sort of buzz about your product first. Maybe do some PPC for your own online store, or get affiliates to sell the item and give them a commission.
Good luck.

Remember, the 4hww is four years old and I would imagine that (and can say based on experience) that ebay isn't the predictor as it once was, especially if you are selling a very specialized product.
I would say your best bet is to develop a website and drive traffic to it.
For example, I have my muse (Google: The GMAT Coach) and put on the site that I offer a home-study based dvd training program (I don't quite yet).
I didn't even specifically advertise for it as I probably should have. Posted a few CL ads, a little PPC, and BOOM I'm averaging 3 calls a day for the thing. I've followed up with the inquirers testing out various price points (Hi it costs $XXX.... Ok I'd like to buy it.... Sorry we are sold out.... Ok when can I buy it?).
So, I've found a demand; a niche in the market not being met that has people willing and able to pay for a superior product.
Took out a loan, found a videographer, and I start filming Saturday.
That's what you need to do imo. Ebay won't cut it anymore and I bet it will address this in the new version of the book.
Cheers!

So it's only taken me 2+ years to get my muse up instead of 4. That actually makes me feel better haha
