Spreadsheet Muse

Hey guys,

So I have a muse idea that involves selling spreadsheets / ebooks online. This is currently my favorite idea because it's all digital content that I can create, update, etc. from a computer with Internet anywhere.

I wanted to ask if any of you sell digital content like this and if so, how's it working out for you? Did you develop the content with OpenOffice or Microsoft Office or some other software? I am using OpenOffice now, and I believe any content I create with it is legally mine (i.e. I don't have to pay OpenOffice a royalty for every spreadsheet I sell), but I wanted to make sure and see what other people are doing in this area.

Also, do you copyright this material?

To my knowledge it is copyrighted at the moment you type the first letters. A spreadsheet is a WORK, just as a story or a song is a WORK. It is wise to claim the copyright: (c) 2090 Sven H........ somewhere on every sheet
