View Full Version : Muse Testing on Ebay

I have recently finished reading 4 hour work week and have decided on a possible muse that I wish to explore. I have recently tested my muse on Ebay as recommended, however I have received no bids and minimal hits. I then canceled the sale before the auction deadline to avoid the penalties ..etc.

- Should I be discouraged by this result?
- Would Ebay be the recommended initial testing method for muse/s? If not, what did you do as a starter?
- If Ebay is recommended, if so, how can I increase my Ebay bids/results?

- On a different topic, with Google Adwords, is it compulsory to include my muse in all Keywords. e.g. if my muse were 'ipod cases' would I include "ipod case" in ALL keywords i.e. leather ipod cases and plastic ipod cases.

Thanks guys.

I have no clue about ebay and am advertising on adwords. Maybe it depends on your product and niche.

Hello,

In my understanding, Ebay is a good tool for testing the pricing point of your product. As it is increasing auction, you can actually get a feel of how high you can raise the price of your product, however I m not sure it is good to test the interest in your product. The way I am planning on doing the testing on my muse is to put up a webpage with a link to preorder the product, set up with Aweber and analytical tools and start and Adword campaign. This way I ll test the interest of my target audience to my topic.

I hope this helps
