I am just getting my niche defined... and was wondering if someone to could me some feedback. I have been in the lighting business for 5+ years and now that LED technology is amping up, I would like to do an online business (full automation, 4-Hour Workweek model, etc.) selling LED lamps. PROBLEM - Lots of competition and resellers. When I researched via Google Keyword Search Tool, the keywords LEDs and Light Emitting Diodes are at 100%.

Can anyone, with confidence tell me, that this the WRONG direction to go?

Any and ALL insight is very much appreciated. I want to GET STARTED!!!

Thanks Again!

Quite the opposite. Having that much competition is a huge indicator of a big market. Since this is your first post, here is a bit of advice I have given many times. Never open a pizza ship in a town with no pizza shops, always open in the town with 10 shops. Why? Because you know they eat pizza!

The challenge you face will be to find a niche and own it. What are your ideas there?

I was thinking about defining the niche homeowners that want to"go green" and use other eco-friendly products, either to make improvements within their existing home space or when choosing their lighting products when building their new home.

What do you think??
