Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good wordpress theme for a single page sales letter (single product), which has fully customisable header so the logo can be inserted, and is easy to put testimonials on the right hand sidebar.

I figure it is cheaper to buy a theme that works rather than pay someone on Elance, where the quotes I have are for terrible looking templates.

I am actually working on this particular kind of theme. SEO optimized landing page for WordPress. And I am going to initially give it away for free!

However, what you described can be done with default Kubrik theme in 10 minutes... OK in 30 minutes, if you want to change header image.

have you done a search for free word press themes? there are thousands out there and i have never had a problem finding one to fit my needs. if you find one you love and its not perfect, my experience has been to contact the person that designed it and ask them to modify. i have done that 3 times. 2 of the times they did it for me for free, and the third cost me $50 bucks. good luck and please let us know how you make out!

I stumbled upon wpsalesletter.com, and was impressed enough to fork out $18.90 on the wordpress theme there. There are a couple of buggy bits, but I managed to sort a solution for those without knowing a heck of a lot about web design. As a result, I have cancelled the job I had on elance where the best quote was for $150. A nice saving.

I now have my website up, and as soon as I get clickbank approval (charging $157 means I have to get special approval), look out New Rich, here I come...

I prefer Thesis wordpress theme - it is a great theme and does real well in search results. I wont drop a link - just search for Thesis in google
