Forums are fun, it's cool to interract directly with people.
What other communities, besides this one, are you apart of?

Dan Thies "White Hat Black Belts" SEO forum. Posts are.. extremely slow there, but every now and then something good turns up.
Read WarriorForum for about a week.. but there's just too many posts to keep up with it, and most of them are crap. I search through it every now and then if there's a particular topic I want to get a pulse on "the word on the street."
This seems to be the only forum I keep coming back to. Seems to be greatest concentration of regular posters who are at the cusp or already experiencing moderate success with their online ventures.

-Warrior "Forum" (?!) ; one-man's business model: sell garbage internet marketing-related products to newbies. There are always going to be newbies looking to earn money, therefore you'll always have new customers.
After 5 years on this forum I was scammed many times and wasted my time. Avoid!
- ABestWeb: forum for superaffiliates, many aff programs covered. No info about product creation. No room for basic, newbie questions (but at least is a real forum, not just a place to get people scammed, like that awful "forum" I mentioned earlier.
- AssociatePrograms : nice forum to visit once a month, maybe. Some affiliate articles on the site, too. To many affiliate links in those articles.
- Clickbanksuccessforum: Some strange products for sale there, but the forum is nice to visit twice a month. Good for CB affiliates and merchants. Even if you don't use clickbank, there may be something useful there.
- Webmasterworld: many different topics. Not all discussions are quality, but at least there's no 5 line signature files (like on that dreadful "forum" I mentioned earlier)
- SEOChat: excellent site and forum for search engine optimization. Many articles are outdated, though (I don't know why they keep them there). Forum has many useful posts.

I sensed that as well. Thanks for the insight.

be prepared for a very harsh community. Cussing and hazing is common, as are pictures with nudity but you will not find more valuable information about Internet marketing anywhere.

I'm currently getting a lot of entertainment from blackhatworld (not sure how useful a lot of the content is though!)

I really enjoy watching videos on TED.com
Actually, I'm a bit picky and I have a love/hate relationship with that community. Some videos are great and timeless, with applicable learning that I can actually use, and others are completely useless (to me). For example, they recently featured a showcase of people beat boxing...

I just found that forum earlier this week after coming across a recomendation here from a 4HWW forum user.
That place was HORRIBLE! Scared the beejeebies out of me! Too much stuff for my eyes to try and focus on and my brain to comprehend and mainly just junk! At first I thought to myself, "If THIS is the stuff I'm supposed to know and understand for an online business to work, I'm screwed". Then I saw it for what it was and left. It felt so cut-throat almost.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't like the place.
Oh, forgot to mention, I also like hanging out on Website Babble .com. Much friendlier group of folks. Believe it or not you actually can be friendly AND helpful. You don't always have to be condescending and "tell it like it is" to help a newbie as proved on that forum.

There is some good info on warrior but there are a lot of scammy posts and empty promises. They are trying to attract the "I'm going to get rich quick on the internet" crowd.
