refining my muse

Please bare with me as I am brand new to this. I am exploring using Auction Acrobat to automate an informational product. The trouble is, I haven't refined my niche and I need help doing so. Was considering re-brandable/free license E-books but am not sure what to start. Do I just buy a bunch of re-brandable titles (need to find a quality source that reflect my interests):), create a small site, and start auto listing on E-bay?

I'm sure there is a smarter approach but I'm not sure what the best first step is. Any thoughts?
