I am working on a website to test the viability of selling a DVD training program designed for executives to learn some fairly complex subject matter. The material would be of interest to executives running companies with more than 500 employees primarily. Does anyone know of a nice example website that I should use to help me describe my offering and do some Google ad-word based testing of my marketing message?
I'm just looking to use someone else's site to driv emy own thinking. I want to know what the headers are, a place to have testimonials, the value of the offering, but I want to see how other people created websites to test a 4 hour workweek type businesses. I am not looking to steal your color scheme, your actual ad copy, your logo etc, but just to have ideas for the kind of material I should put on my site.

Hey folks,

I'm really stuck here. I think I've got a great idea for a DVD series but I want to test-market it using Tim's "test before you create" approach. Does anybody have a good model for me? Probably a company that almost sells a DVD training program designed for executives to learn some fairly complex subject matter. PLEASE HELP!

If you want to set up a site quickly and easily that doesn't actually sell anything, wordpress is by far the easiest, they have tutorials on how to do everything.

This will allow you to put the information that you need onto a website, put up an opt-in email form to collect potential buyer interest, and then you can go to town on adwords and ysm.

Its not an easy process by any means, but this might give you a starting point.
