Products to sell?

I am looking for products to sell that retail around 200.00.
I've looked through drop shippers, wholesalers, thomasnet guide, and I just cannot find a product to get behind. Honestly I'm feeling a bit paralyzed about it. I've considered network marketing, yet I haven't found anyone that has actually made money.
I'm leaning toward taking any product that I'm the slightest bit interested in and give it a try just to get the ball rolling. Will anyone share their thoughts and advice?

Find the market first and then let the market tell you what products they want to buy. Your thinking is backwards.
