Hi all, looking for some feedback. I just updated my landing page from a version that wasn't working well at all, like to hear any suggestions on it.
http://book.CookLikeYourGrandmother.com
There's a 10-page or so preview available from that page, as well as a blog ( http://blog.CookLikeYourGrandmother.com ) if you want an idea about the product.
Feel free to be brutal. I know I'm better at food writing than copywriting.
Thanks in advance.

Great start. I am in the process of doing a case study. You can see where I started with the tag line or headline. (I removed all ads from the page other than my product shot.)
The idea is you want that page to SAY something and hook them right off the bat.
Anatomy of a good landing page. (http://webpreppro.com/blog/index.php/2008/03/28/the-anatomy-of-a-good-landing-page-a-case-study/)
You have the idea there. MAKE THEM FEEL like they felt. My grandma made the best pineapple upside down cake. Remind them it's not easy to find this kind of cooking these days. But I'm liking something about this:
"Irish Soda Bread with golden raisins and topped with raw sugar, warm from the oven with just-churned butter."
With some work, you could push them right over the edge. Remember evoke a feeling of the warm bread in the oven, the festive atmosphere and the family enjoying a meal together. You're selling a whole Norman Rockwell feeling that this kind of cooking evokes.
Love your favicon.ico in the address bar. Itty bitty apron. Nice touch.

After reading your case study, I'm starting to think I've been too in love with my tagline. Sure, that's what it's about, but does it grab?

That's what I added after the first round of feedback from another site. Get all the senses involved.

Geeze, how did I not come up with the Rockwell connection. I'm absolutely going to play that up. Time to go look for some Rockwell-esque imagery.

Glad you noticed! I'm a sucker for little things like that. Wasn't sure if it would be clear what it was.
Thanks for the feedback.
