I'm looking for a place to host my website and I don't remember any mention of HostMonster in the forums. I've seen mostly good reviews, but they look to be biased.

I use them... they seem to work well, but their servers can be a bit slow. For the price ($6.95 a month hosting), you really can't beat it.

I use IX web hosting and have been really pleased. My plan is 7.95 a month, but they have one for 4.95 if you don't need that many sites hosted. Plus if you sign up with them you get like $500 in free advertising services (MSN, Yahoo, Google, etc).

I am using mine to fund my first PPC campaign on Google for my website www.wolfmountainhouse.com :)

I use Hostmonster. I have had no problems. The couple of times I have had any questions I get on to their live help and get an answer within minutes.

They really are a monster with 1500 GB Transfer per month. :)

However it is a shared IP. If you want your own SSL then you will require a dedicated IP. Both SSL security certificate and dedicated IP can be purchased through Hostmonster. Alternatively you can make use of their shared SSL.

Really depends on what your site is for.
