Hi All,

Firstly has anyone got some good VA recommendations? I am for now focusing on the Indian outsourcing companies from the book. Brickwork seems to be quite expensive (25+/hr at the basic rate and more for their other packages), so that really leaves Get Friday (YMII - YMII I was told is only for Indian's wanting work physically done in India - so was directed to their other company, Get Friday). elance can get you some VA's in india too.

So, i have seen at least one non favorable thread about Get Friday on this forum. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I suspect though it is a bit of a process and just takes some trial and error.

Finally, has anyone got or seen more specifics processes/templates/flows on how to use VA's - task templates for general types of tasks, specific do's/don't setc?

thanks,
Brettt

Hey Brett,

I'm having pretty good success with www.vmgbpo.com

I also use www.trafficassistants.com but have only just started & it's all pretty painful so far..

GetaFreelancer.com is a recent find & so far much better workers than rentacoder or guru.com (elance is always an option, but a bit more expensive - good for writing jobs though)

Cheers,
Mike

I am meeting with a VA this week. He's a guy in my neighborhood who had a stroke and is disabled. His mind is still sharp as a tack but his speech and some limbs were effected. His job was in sales so he's not been able to go back to work. I will be paying $15 an hour because he is very smart and I feel like it will be a good investment as he has a good business mind so it will benefit us both.

There's also Craig's list. Perhaps there is a Work at home mom that would like to make some extra cash in your area? You can offer $8-$10 an hour but I actually don't think it will cost you more since there is no language issue. Just thinking outside what is listed in the book.

Depends on what you're looking for I guess... but try out, http://agentsofvalue.com/ I have seen good response from the, although I am not currently using them... and I know of others that had great success with them.

good luck!
