In the meantime, here are a few things I’m experimenting with and enjoying:

Fujitsu ScanScap scanner – this is easily the best peripheral I’ve ever owned, and I have removed 99% of all the paper from my life using it. It’s small enough to throw in carry-on luggage.
Pro Sound Effects – royalty-free sound effects and production elements, used by many name-brand music and TV producers (Dr. Dre, Adult Swim, etc.)
