Anyways, it's been a ton of help and since I am currently starting a company and trying to raise money I have used a lot about what you talk about in these two postings. The tips on why you choose certain companies and not others has been really influential. Although sometimes it sucks to go out there and fail and make mistakes there is no better way to get educated than to just get in the trenches yourself.
